Addiction Leadership Conference POSTPONED!
March 17, 2020
CCAPP is concerned with responsibly protecting health and public safety. We want you to know that we are keeping a close eye on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. Out of an abundance of caution and in an attempt to comply with the almost daily changes in policy & protocols County, State, & Nationwide, CCAPP is postponing our annual training and Capitol visit day (Addiction Leadership Conference) to May 4-5, 2020.
There is no need to cancel your conference registration as we will automatically add you to the new date. If you are unable to attend the conference for any reason, registrations fee will be applied to one of the upcoming CCAPP conferences, either MCC or CAC. If the hotel was booked with CCAPP room block, the hotel reservation will be moved to the new ALC conference dates automatically unless you have already cancelled the reservation.
Regardless of the postponement of the event, we still very much need your voices this month as CCAPP has four sponsored pieces of legislation. We will be sending you alerts when these items are scheduled for hearings and will depend on your active participation with letters, phone calls and personal visits to your local legislators.
Stay tuned through our alert system for any updates and stay safe as we all work through this difficult time. Should you have any questions, please email [email protected] so that we can keep phone lines clear for regular business.
